TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods were tabbed No. 9 in the country in the d2football.com preseason media poll which was released this morning. The Ichabods will open the 2010 season at Colorado Mines on Saturday.
The Ichabods were one of four teams from the MIAA in the poll joining No. 1 Northwest Missouri, No. 14 Missouri Western and No. 20 Nebraska-Omaha. The Ichabods will face No. 4 Abilene Christian in their home opener on Sept. 4 in Yager Stadium.
