Amy Renyer - Women's Basketball (1989-93)
Strong on offense and defense, Amy Renyer played basketball for the Lady Blues from 1989-93. She was inducted into the Washburn Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003-04.
Renyer scored 1,310 points in her four years, sixth at the time and 11th through the 2019-20 season. She was second on the career rebounding chart with 923.
In her senior year, she helped the team to a 31-1 record and an MIAA championship and she was named to the all-conference second team. She led WU with 2.0 steals per game and an .825 free throw percentage.
In her four years the Lady Blues went 104-20 (.839) and she led the team in rebounding her final three years, averaging 7.7 during that stretch.
