Arthur Brewster - Men's Basketball (1920-25)
Arthur (Art) Brewster played four seasons for Washburn Basketball and was part of the 1925 A.A.U. National Championship team. Brewster was named to the All-American, All-Western and All-Kansas Conference teams. Although a guard, Brewster wasn’t known for his offense but more for his defense and his rebounding ability. Brewster was also named Washburn’s most popular athlete in 1925. He was inducted into the Washburn Hall of Fame in 1971.
