David Hull
Basketball 1975-78
Inducted 2002-03
All-American David Hull played basketball for the Ichabods for three years from 1975-78 and was inducted into the Washburn Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002-03.
When Hull left Washburn he was tied for fifth on the all-time scoring chart with 1,011 points and third in rebounding with 467.
Hull’s junior year was a record-setting one as he earned honorable mention All-America honors. He finished with 21.0 points per game, then the second most in school history, and he set school records with 566 total points and 238 field goals made. Hull also earned first team all-Central States Intercollegiate Conference honors and first team all-district honors that year.
Through the 2006-07 season Hull’s 1,011 total points ranked 17th in school history.
