Frank Dexter - Basketball (1967-69)
In his three years on the Ichabods basketball team from 1967-69, Frank Dexter proved himself as a solid scorer during a successful stretch of Washburn basketball. He was inducted into the WU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1993-94.

The Ichabods made two trips to the NAIA national tournament while Dexter played and they won the Central States Intercollegiate Conference championship his freshman year.

Dexter scored 806 points in his three years to average 15.5 points per game, the second most in school history at the time and the most of anyone in the 1960s.

He averaged 16.5 points a game in 1968-69, his senior year to earn NAIA all-district honors.
