Grant Gould appeared in 46 career games as an Ichabod starting in all of them at linebacker. He finished his career as Washburn's all-time leader in tackles with 459 as well as setting the school record for solo career tackles with 205 and total assisted tackles of 254 which he still holds today. Gould is currently eighth in career tackles for loss with 29 as well. His 128 total tackles as a senior and his 127 tackles as a sophomore rank fifth and sixth respectively on the Ichabod single-season chart. Gould earned second-team All-American honors from Daktronics and from the Football Gazette as a senior and honorable mention All-American honors from D2Football.com. He was a first-team all-MIAA selection as a senior helping the Ichabods to the MIAA championship and their first NCAA playoff appearance in 2005. He was an honorable mention all-MIAA pick at linebacker his junior, sophomore and freshman seasons. His 459 career tackles are currently seventh on the MIAA all-time chart and was third at the end of his career.
