Kathy (Mohler) Harrington - Softball (1997-2000) and Women's Basketball (1996-97)
Kathy (Mohler) Harrington was a four-year member of the Lady Blues softball leading the team to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history in 1999. As of 2020, her 69 all-time pitching wins tops the program history charts and her 22 victories she earned as a senior rank second all-time in single season wins. She recorded 152 strikeouts as a senior, which is currently third on the all-time chart. Harrington's finished her career with the most appearances in Lady Blues history with 133 career appearances in the circle. 

She pitched a school record 13 innings against Emporia State adding to another school record of 727 2/3 innings pitched. She earned first team all-MIAA honors as a senior and first team all-conference honors as a utility player as a junior. She also received National Fastpitch Coaches Association all-region honors her junior year. Harrington was a honorable mention all-MIAA pick as a freshman.

She also was a part of the Lady Blues basketball team for one season. Harrington lives in Silver Lake with her husband Shane and was inducted into the Washburn Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
