Laura (Mueller) Sink - Women's Basketball (1988-92)
Laura (Mueller) Sink played basketball for the Lady Blues from 1988-92 and was part of four postseason tournament squads. She was inducted into the Washburn Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002-03.

In Sink's first two years she helped the team to the NAIA tournament, including a national tournament appearance her freshman year. In her final two years, the Lady Blues joined NCAA Division II and she helped guide them to postseason NCAA play both years. In 1991-92, the Lady Blues advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the first time.

She was also part of a Central States Intercollegiate Conference championship team as a freshman.

Through the 2019-20 season Sink was No. 5 on the all-time scoring list with 1,761 points and No. 13 on the all-time rebounding chart with 554.

Her 38 points scored in a single game against Missouri-St. Louis in 1991 set a school record that stood until 2006.

Sink led the team in scoring her junior campaign with 16.1 ppg and she led in field goal percentage her freshman and sophomore seasons.

She was a second team all-MIAA pick following her junior and senior seasons and an MIAA all-academic pick her senior season.
