Matt Ewald - Golf (2005-09)
Matt Ewald is Washburn's all-time leader in career scoring average at 73.06 while his 131 rounds ranks first all-time as well. His head-to-head winning percentage of .857 (3199-532) is also first. Ewald has the three best single-season scoring averages in school history including a best of 72.1 as a senior in 34 rounds played and a single-season winning percentage of .952 (1058-53). In 51 events as an Ichabod he had  25 top-five finishes and 32 top-10 finishes. Ewald was a four-time all-MIAA selection winning MVP honors as a sophomore in 2007. He was a three-time All-American earning second team honors as a sophomore, third team honors as a junior and first team accolades as a senior. He was a four-time all-region selection and a second team CoSIDA Academic All-American as a junior earning four MIAA Scholar Athlete awards.
