Michael Dritlein - Football (1992-95)
Michael Dritlein finished his career ranked second on Washburn's list of all-time career reception leaders after his four seasons, playing from 1992-1995. He had a career-high of 51 catches in 1993, led his team in scoring as a sophomore. He also surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards in his 14th game with 59 yards on six catches. Dritlein led the MIAA in receptions in 1993 and was a second-team all-Midwest region selection in 1993-94. He was voted a two-time offensive MVP and three-time offensive Player of the Week. Dritlein was the co-recipient of the Ace of the Year Award and a member of the Athletic Director’s honor roll. He was inducted into the Washburn Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
