Nick Kresic - Football (1983-86)
Nick Kresic finished his career at Washburn with a school-record 35 field goals in a career, which is currently tied for third on the career chart, and his 24 attempts during the 1986 season is tied for first atop the Ichabod record books. His 31 PAT makes and 34 PAT attempts in 1986 were both school records at the time.

He connected on 35-of-47 career field goal attempts for a 75 percent average which was also the best in school history at the end of his career and ranks third as of 2020. When he finished his career, his 186 points scored was second at Washburn and is currently fifth in school history. He was a second team All-American pick in 1986 as a senior, earning first team NAIA all-district honors as well as first team all-CSIC honors as a junior and senior.

Kresic and his wife Tin live in Highland, Mich., with their daughters Olivia and Ava. Kresic was inducted into the Washburn Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012 and says his greatest Ichabod memory was playing in the 1986 Aztec Bowl at Olympic Stadium in Mexico City.
