TOPEKA, KAN. - The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association(D2CCA) named three Ichabods to the D2CCA All-Central Region Teams:
Belle Kennedy,
Leah Henke, and
Lindsey Maul.
Senior
Belle Kennedy was named to the D2CCA All-Central First Team. Kennedy, who is the MIAA DPOY & All-MIAA First Team selection, was named to the D2CCA All-Central Second Team last season. She played 167 minutes this past weekend, including 98 minutes in the penalty shootout win over No. 1-seeded Minnesota State.
Leah Henke earned D2CCA All-Central Second Team honors. The Freshman forward added two goals, bringing her total on the year to 11, which is tied for 4th all-time in Washburn history for goals in a single season. She also added an assist this past weekend in Minnesota.
Junior
Lindsey Maul was also named to the D2CCA All-Central Second Team. The defender also has earned All-MIAA First Team honors this season. Maul played 101 minutes on Sunday and has racked up 1406 minutes so far this season.
