TOPEKA, Kan. -- Follow all the 2017 Washburn Ichabod football signing information as their National Letter of Intents and institutional agreements arrive on campus. All of the future Ichabods' information will be updated as they come across the fax machine and have been verified by school administrators. Stay tuned right here and on twitter at @wusports as new signees are announced.

Rushed for 2,667 yards in his high school career with 36 touchdowns on the ground averaging 74.1 yards per game and 9.0 yards per carry … rushed for 1,219 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior with 121.9 yards per game average … rushed for 856 yards and 11 scores as a junior and 527 yards as a sophomore … son of Alnisa Jenkins … anticipated major is sports management.

Four-year member of Cherry Creek squad where he played safety and running back … son of Curtis and Regina Appleton … anticipated major is business marketing.

Named league's defensive lineman of the year earning first team all-state, all-league and all-district … son of Latosha Baker … anticipated major is criminal justice.

Cole Emerson \\ 6-2, 190 \\ Wide Receiver \\ Topeka, Kan. \\ Shawnee Heights High School
Had 17 catches for 320 yards and five touchdowns as a junior earning honorable mention all-league honors and all-city at wide receiver … missed senior season with an injury … also played baseball … two-time academic letterwinner and member of National Honor Society … son of Cale and Lisa Emerson … anticipated major is criminal justice.

Will Evans \\ 5-11, 205 \\ Running Back \\ Overland Park, Kan. \\ Blue Valley High School
Rushed for 1,590 yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior recording 2,165 all-purpose yards earning All-Simone team, first team all-league, was named 6A all-state, a member of the USA All-Kansas football team … as a junior he recorded 1,043 rushing yards, 1,503 all-purpose yards and 16 touchdowns … was also park of 4x400m relay third place state team … as a sophomore he had 1,053 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns and was second team all-league … had 26 touchdowns as a freshman … also participated in track and basketball … son of Mark and Carla Evans … anticipated major is natural science and math or exercise science.

Grady Greenwood \\ 6-0, 215 \\ Fullback \\ Lincoln, Neb. \\ Lincoln East High School
Was team captain as a senior blocking for a 1,000-yard running back as team made it to state semifinals … also wrestled … son of Gary and Miki Esposito-Greenwood … anticipated major is sports management … his mother was a four-year volleyball player at Baker and his father was an All-American at Baker and is the Baker Athletic Hall of Fame.

Quinton Harris \\ 6-1, 170 \\ Wide Receiver \\ Kansas City, Mo. \\ Park Hill High School
A four-year member of the football team… son of Kenyatte Harris, Sr. and Shelly Tosel … brother Kenyatte is a member of the Ichabod football team … anticipated major is nursing.

Ben Harrison \\ 5-10, 180 \\ Wide Receiver \\ Topeka, Kan. \\ Washburn Rural High School
A four-year member of the Junior Blues … son of Claude and Connie Harrison and Shirlene Harrison … his brother Cody played at Kansas State … undecided on major.

Clayton Herdman \\ 6-4, 225 \\ Defensive End \\ Rush Center, Kan. \\ LaCrosse High School
An all-state selection at quarterback and defensive back as a senior … earned all-state honors at defensive back as a junior finishing fourth in the 400m run taking second in the javelin throw at the state tournament … finished ninth in the 400m as a sophomore … part of 4x400m relay team as a freshman which finished fourth in state and ninth in 400m … son of Trent and Jana Herdman … anticipated major is athletic training.

Jake Lyon \\ 6-1, 290 \\ Offensive Lineman \\ Chesterfield, Mo. \\ St. John Vianney High School
A first team all-league, all-district, all-state and first team all-state media and second team all-metro selection as a senior as team was Class 5 Champions … as a junior he was a first team all-league pick and a second team all-state selection … earned second team all-league as a sophomore … son of Jim and Lisa Lyon … anticipated major is criminal justice, business or psychology … his sister Sarah played soccer at Missouri-St. Louis.

Micah Skebo \\ 5-10, 180 \\ Defensive Back \\ St. Peter's Mo. \\ Francis Howell Central High School
A four-year member of the football team and recording 67 tackles with three interceptions, two fumble recoveries also had two rushing and two receiving touchdowns earning all-league, all-district and all-state honors at defensive back … as a junior he recorded 45 tackles with five interceptions … also participated in track and field… son of Bob and Kristin Skebo … dad played baseball at Youngstown State and Appalacian State … anticipated major is business finance.

Garrett Staten \\ 5-9, 175 \\ Wide Receiver \\ Olsburg, Kan. \\ Riley County High School
An all-state honorable mention selection as a senior as well as first team all-league and all-Flint Hills rushing for 967 yards … as a junior he was a first team all-league, all-area and was named the Manhattan Mercury Player of the Year and all-state honorable mention after rushing for 1,138 yards … as a sophomore he was a first team all-league, all-area after rushing for 916 yards … son of Tony and Justine Staten … anticipated major is physical education.

Kahseem Stevenson \\ 5-11, 285 \\ Defensive Lineman \\ Denver, Colo. \\ Denver South High School
As a senior he was a first team all-league pick as well as first team all-state and an all-state MVP after recording 102 tackles with five sacks … as a jnunior he was a first team all-league in football and lacrosse recording 82 tackles and four sacks … as a sophomore he was a first team all-league pick in football and lacrosse with 48 tackles … a first team all-league pick in lacrosse as a freshman … a member of the 4.0 honor roll as a senior … son of Haneefah Hasan, Ray Stevenson and Dakarai Box … anticipated major is sports medicine … brother Dakarai Box II plays football at Eastern New Mexico.

Hunter Skeens \\ 5-10, 165 \\ Defensive Back \\ Gardner, Kan. \\ Gardner-Edgerton High School
As a senior he had 500 rushing yards, 600 receiving yards and 56 tackles with one interception and 300 kickoff return yards … also played baseball and wrestled … son of Todd and Robin Skeens … anticipated major is marketing.

Sam Stranathan \\ 6-2, 270 \\ Offensive Lineman \\ Gardner, Kan. \\ Gardner-Edgerton High School
As a senior he was a second team selection on the defensive line and first team on the offensive line … as a junior he was selected all-league at center and on the defensive line … a three-time state track and field participant in the discus … started at center on varsity as a freshman… son of Matt and Pam Stranathan … anticipated major is radiology … his bother played basketball, track and volleyball at Fort Hays State … will also participate in track and field at Washburn.

Jaaron Taylor \\ 6-0, 255 \\ Defensive Lineman \\ Gilbert, Ariz. \\ Chandler High School
A four-year member of the Wolves football team helping squad to a state championship as a senior … son of Jerry and Jacquelyan Taylor … anticipated major is occupational therapy.

Alex Thomas \\ 6-0, 195 \\ Defensive Back \\ Aurora, Colo. \\ Rangeview High School
A second team all-state pick as well as first team all-league and first team all-city as a senior who was named team captain … as a junior he was a first team all-league pick … earned honorable mention all-league as a sophomore … offensive MVP as a freshman … son of Terry and Shelly Thomas … anticipated major is pre-dentistry.

Garret Tierney \\ 5-10, 190 \\ Linebacker \\ Overland Park, Kan. \\ Blue Valley Northwest High School

Ian Trapp \\ 6-2, 195 \\ Quarterback \\ Manhattan, Kan. \\ Manhattan High School
A two-time all-Centennial League quarterback and two-time honorable mention all-state selection by the Topeka Capital Journal and Wichita Eagle … named first team all-state by KPreps and was a top 100 pick by Sports In Kansas … rushed for 1500 yards with 800 passing yards gaining 43 total offensive touchdowns … son of Susan and Tad Trapp … undecided on major.

Landen Urban \\ 6-0, 260 \\ Defensive Lineman \\ Hoisington, Kan. \\ Hoisington High School
As a senior he was an all-league pick at offensive line and at linebacker earning Topeka Capital Journal all-class top 11 and was the named the Sports In Kansas 3A Defensive Player of the Year, named to the Varsity Kansas all-state, USA Today and KPreps all-state teams as well as first team all-area by the Hutchinson News, and all-state by the Kansas Football Coaches Association … as a junior he was an all-league pick on the defensive line and took fifth at the Kansas State wrestling tournament … earned all-league honors on the offensive line as a sophomore … son of Kelly and Laura Urban … anticipated major is kinesiology.
 
Collin Wilson \\ 6-2, 175 \\ Wide Receiver \\ Topeka, Kan. \\ Washburn Rural High School
Recorded 19 catches for 490 yards with seven touchdowns averaging 26 yards per catch … a four-year member of the Junior Blues … son of the late Greg "Buzz" and Brenda Wilson … his father was a member of the Ichabod NAIA National Championship team finishing career fifth on all-time scoring chart with 1,323 points … sister Anjanae participated in track and field … brother Michael Wilhoite played football at Washburn from 2005-10 and currently for the San Francisco 49ers … anticipated major is nursing.
