TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn volleyball remains ranked No. 5 in the latest and final NCAA Regional Rankings released before the NCAA Tournament begins.
The selection show will be broadcast on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. CST.
In the final regional rankings the Ichabods hold firm at No. 5 in the region with a 21-3 record against regional opponents. Nebraska Kearney holds the top spot in the region with a 26-3 overall record. The top seed in next week's NCAA selection show will host the eight-team field at their site.
Five teams in the ten ranked come from the MIAA with the other five from the NSIC. One spot will be awarded to the automatic qualifier of the GAC Tournament champion as well.
Washburn begins MIAA Tournament play on Thursday, Nov. 20 facing Central Missouri at 2:30 p.m. in St. Joseph, Mo.
