KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Coming off one of the best seasons in program history with an NCAA Final Four appearance, an NCAA Central Regional Championship and an MIAA regular season title with a 30-4 overall record, the Washburn Ichabod men's basketball team and six players were all named to the NABC Honors Court released today.
Individually,
Brady Christiansen (business),
Jacob Hanna (biology),
Jake Schadegg (kinesiology),
Michael Keegan (business),
Sam Ungashick (accounting) and
Zaid Dajani (marketing) were all named to the team.
The Ichabods as a team have a cumulative grade point average of 3.32, earning the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
