LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Ichabod volleyball continues to rise up the AVCA Rankings moving into the top-10 to No. 9 in the latest poll released on Monday afternoon by the organization.  

Washburn moved to 8-0 on the season after four sweeps at the Washburn Invitational last season. They have won 24 of 25 sets this season including each of the last 18 sets played. They received 786 points in the poll, moving up from being ranked No. 12 last week.  

Lynn secured the top spot in the poll for a third straight week, with 44 of 47 first-place votes. Central Oklahoma jumped up to the No. 2 spot with two first-place votes. The final first-place vote went to Simon Fraser which was ranked No. 8.  

Around the MIAA in addition to the Bronchos and Ichabods, Nebraska Kearney is ranked No. 5 and Missouri Western enters the rankings at No. 21. Central Missouri is also receiving votes with five points in the poll.  

The Ichabods will play one final regular season tournament at the Comfort Inn Invitational in Warrensburg, Mo. on September 19-20.
