LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Washburn Ichabod volleyball moves upwards in the AVCA rankings for a fourth straight week to begin the 2025 season as they rank No. 7 in the latest poll release by the organization on Monday afternoon.
The Ichabods are off to an 11-0 start to the season after finishing off non-conference play with a 3-2 win over Ouachita Baptist. They move up from No. 9 two spots in this week's poll with 852 total points.
Staying in the top spot is Lynn with 44 first-place votes. The other three first place nods go to Central Oklahoma who is ranked No. 2. Following the Bronchos, Tampa, Nebraska Kearney and MSU Denver round out the top-five respectively. Around the MIAA, Missouri Western remains ranked in a tie for 24th in the nation, while Central Missouri is receiving votes.
