At Washburn: Has started 44 matches in 77 appearances … has scored 11 goals adding four assists for 26 career points … tied for the sixth-most match-winning goals (5) in program history … appeared in every match that Washburn played over the course of her career ... an All-MIAA honorable selection as a junior ... scored the lone Washburn goal in two MIAA Tournament quarterfinal matches (Nov. 1, 2017 and Oct. 31, 2018) ... a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a two-time MIAA Scholar-Athlete selection.
In 2018: Appeared in all 19 matches, making six starts … scored two goals and added one assist … took 22 shots with nine on goal … scored the equalizing goal right before halftime in the MIAA Tournament quarterfinal match against Central Oklahoma (Oct. 31).
In 2017: Started 19 of 20 matches accumulating 1192 total minutes … tied for the team lead with five goals and ten total points en route to honorable mention All-MIAA honors … took 26 shots, 13 of them on goal … two of her five goals were match-winning … was responsible for the lone goal in the Ichabods’ victory against Northeastern State in the first round of the MIAA tournament … named Academic All-MIAA and to the MIAA Scholar-Athlete listing.
In 2016: Appeared in 19 matches recording a match-winning assist in a 2-0 win at Northwest Missouri … recorded seven shots with three on goal … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2015: All-MIAA third team … started all 19 matches … played 1,018 minutes … led team in scoring with four goals and two assists for 10 points … had the game-winning goals against Lindenwood (Sept. 25) and Missouri Southern (Oct. 19) … took 19 shots with 13 on goal (.684 shots on goal percentage) … received the MIAA Academic Excellence Award winner and named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was a member of the MIAA Scholar Athlete Team.
Background: As a senior, was named as a team captain, a first team all-league selection at forward and named first team class 6A all-state as well as the AVCTL’s Division I Player of the Year after scoring 36 goals with 21 assists … as a junior she scored 27 goals with 17 assists earning first team all-league and class 6A second team all-state honors … as a sophomore she scored 16 goals with seven assists en route to second team all-region and honorable mention all-league honors … scored two goals with one assist as a freshman … helped lead high school team to three third-place finishes and a second-place finish … a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Don and Robyn Swanson ... has one sister Kaylee Swanson who played soccer at Butler Community College ... majoring in kinesiology.
