At Washburn: Returns for redshirt junior season after missing 2016 season with injury.

As a junior in 2016: Missed the season with an injury earning a medical redshirt … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Academic Excellence Award.

Background: A transfer from Dodge City who recorded 84 putouts with 54 assists playing second base while batting .254 with five stolen bases and was a member of the President's Honor Roll and a two-time captain selection … at Russell High School she was an all-league pick as a catcher and led her basketball team to a four-place finish … also earned all-league at catcher her freshman, sophomore and junior years … class valedictorian.

Personal: Daughter of Brad and Cheryl Chase … majoring in kinesiology.
