At Washburn: A two-year member of the Ichabods, playing in six games. 

In 2024: Appeared in four games as a senior … made seven-yard reception against Colorado Mines. 

In 2023: Appeared in two games.

Background: A graduate transfer from Central Missouri where he appeared in 21 games making 13 catches for 151 yards and one touchdown … had 18 career kickoff returns for 279 yards and 11 punt returns for 83 yards … an CSC Academic All-District selection as a sophomore at UCM … he was first-team all-league at defensive back, a second-team punt returner and an honorable mention as a kick returner and wide receiver … as a senior he made 49.5 tackles in 10 games with six interceptions and also had 13 punt returns for 178 yards with a score and returned three kickoffs for touchdowns totaling 755 yards on 31 attempts … he was also a deep threat on offense where he averaged almost 20 yards per catch and four touchdowns … Haynes made the All-State team as well and was All-USA Kansas Football Second-Team selection. 

Personal: Son of Jesse and Cathy Haynes ... his father played father football at Northwest Missouri ranking 10th on the Bearcat all-time rushing chart and then played with the Kansas City Chiefs and in NFL Europe.
