Maddie Bach enters her first season on the Ichabod coaching staff after wrapping up her career at Nebraska-Kearney graduating with her degree in special education/elementary education for grades K through 12.

As a senior at UNK, she helped the DMR team finish third at the MIAA Championship and finished fifth in the 3000m. Overall she recorded top-10 times for the Lopers in the indoor 3,000m, DMR, 1,000m, mile and 5,000m and her time in the outdoor 5,000m was fourth and her 1,500m time was sixth in program history. During the COVID-shortened 2020 season, she finished 12th at the Newman Team Invite and was 35th at the National team Invite in Texas and won the UNK Invite and was a first-team all-MIAA selection in 2019.

Prior to joining UNK, she competed at Iowa Central Community College qualifying for the 2016 NJCAA Cross Country Championships finishing 37th.
