In 2016-17: Placed a season-best third place at the MSSU Indoor Invite in the shot put with a mark of 11.85m and had a season-long toss of 12.25m (40-02.25) at the MIAA Indoor Championships … finished third in the shot put at the UCM Invite … has the top four throws in the shot put in school history … in the outdoor season she recorded career-long throws of 37.08m in the discus and 37.91m in the hammer. 

Background: Finished fifth in the shot put and seventh in the discus at the state track and field meet and was the regional champion in the discus her senior year … four-year letterwinner in track and field, also played volleyball and basketball for two years … as a junior took fifth in discus and seventh in shot put at State 6A Track Meet … team took third in state as a junior … has not completed senior track season … finished in top third of graduating class academically and earned an academic letter.

Personal: Daughter of Steph Hills … has one sister, Hannah, who played tennis at Nebraska-Omaha … majoring in kinesiology.
