Brooke Gomez scored a career-high 14 points in Washburn's come-from-behind road victory over Emporia State on Saturday to begin the new year. Gomez scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half while shooting 5-6 from the free throw line. She also added a team-high three assists along with four rebounds and a steal.
