Dillon Claussen had back-to-back days of career highs in points and rebounds as the No. 2-ranked Ichabods opened the season with a pair of wins at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic as he averaged 22.5 ppg and 12.5 rpg in Lakeland, Fla.
In the season opener against Augusta, Claussen was 7 of 10 from the field including 1 of 1 from deep adding 13 rebounds setting a career high on both. The following day in Washburn's win over No. 3-ranked Dallas Baptist, Claussen was 9 of 11 from the field adding 12 boards tallying 23 points in the win. For the weekend, he was 16 of 21 overall shooting 76 percent from the field.
