Hope Gregory helped 13th-ranked Washburn to two wins and a half-game lead in the MIAA standings last week. The junior from Cheney, Kan., averaged 17 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, raising her scoring average to 10.2 ppg and her rebound total to 7.7 rpg. She scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the 24-point win at MSSU. Gregory scored a game-high 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds in WU’s 35-point win over PSU. She scored 11 of her 16 in the second half, including seven of Washburn’s first 11 points as the Lady Blues extended their 11-point halftime lead to a 41-point lead in the second half.
