Trang went a combined 6-0 at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles as the Lady Blues clinched their fourth MIAA Tournament Championship this weekend in Kansas City. She dropped only 1 game in six sets in singles play defeating Laura Johnson from FHSU 6-0, 6-0 in the first round while defeating Talena Lorren of ESU in the semifinals 6-0, 6-0 and then topped Erika Leston 6-0, 6-1 of NWMSU in the championship match. In doubles play at the No. 1 slot, she teamed with Alyssa Castillo to top Kelsey Bigando and Melissa Skovira 8-2 in the first round match with FHSU. In the semis they topped Amanda Mooris and Michelle Barger 8-4 from ESU and then in the championship match they defeated Emily Hoffman and Erika Leston 8-2.
