Joe Hastings tied a Washburn single-game record with four touchdown receptions of 27, 17, 13, and 30 yards, all in the first half. He collected eight catches for 122 yards while not playing in the second half of the game against UNO because of an injury. The four touchdown receptions tied a WU record set by Troy Slusser from 1988. The record also tied an MIAA record for the fifth time. He was also named the MIAA Athlete of the Week.
