Marty recorded a career-high 17 tackles with 14 solo stops in the ichabods' 41-40 loss to No. 5 Northwest Missouri on Homecoming Saturday … he also recorded two tackles for loss for 17 yards recorded as two sacks with three pass break ups and onne forced fumble … his forced fumble at the Northwest 35 set up a 37-yard field goal by Steve Ivanisevic putting Washburn up 24-14 with 3:37 to go in the first half … his first sack came at the Washburn five yard line when he pulled down Blake Bolles on a 3rd and goal back to the Washburn 15 with Washburn trailing 27-24, the field goal was missed by the Bearcats … the two sacks and the two tackles were also career highs as were the three pass break ups … the 17 total tackles are tied for 9th on the WU single game chart and the 14 solo tackles are tied for first on WU solo single game chart … the three pass break ups are tied for second on the WU single game chart.
