Washburn senior forward Logan Stutz has been named the MIAA men's basketball player of the week for the second time this season after the Ichabods were 2-0 last week. The Ichabods will take on Northwest Missouri on Wednesday in Maryville, Mo., at 7:30 p.m. from Bearcat Arena.

Stutz averaged 25.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 0.5 steals per game as Washburn was 2-0 with wins over Lincoln and at Nebraska-Omaha. Entering the week as the nation's leader in field goal percentage at 72 percent, he was 71.4 percent for the week, going 20-of-37 from the field including 12-of-15 against Lincoln. Against the Blue Tigers in a 90-71 win, Stutz scored 16 points in the first half, going 7-of-9 from the field and collecting seven rebounds. Against Nebraska-Omaha, Stutz finished with 24 points while dishing out a career-high six assists with five rebounds. He scored seven straight points in the second half for the Ichabods, keeping the Mavericks behind at least eight points.

Stutz also won the award Nov. 29 and is the first MIAA men's player to win the award twice this season.
