DeJuan Beard career highs of nine catches for another career high of 141 yards adding two touchdown receptions for the first time in his career in Washburn’s 30-14 win over Missouri Southern. His first touchdown reception from Dane Simoneau put Washburn back in front 10-7 with 1:05 to play in the third quarter on a 19-yard reception. He added his second touchdown reception was an 11-yard pass from Simoneau adding to Washburn’s lead giving them a 30-14 advantage with 2:27 to play in the game. All nine of his receptions went for first downs for the Ichabods.
