Senior guard Ebonie Williams hit the game-winning shot with 4.4 seconds left at Emporia State Wednesday night, giving Washburn a 53-52 win. Minutes after that the Lady Blues learned that they clinched at least a share of the MIAA title. Saturday against Lincoln she had 15 points and four assists to lead Washburn to the outright title with a 72-47 win. Williams averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals a game last week. She had 15 points at ESU, going 6 of 15 from the field and she added five assists. She shot 43 percent from the field and 46 percent from 3-point range.
