WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Washburn junior guard Will McNeill was named to the NCAA South Central Regional All-Tournament team which was released after Midwestern State topped Arkansas Tech in the regional final. The Ichabods, who won both the MIAA regular season and tournament championships, finished the season with a 25-8 record advancing to their 12th NCAA tournament and their second consecutive overall.

McNeill averaged 21.0 ppg going 15 of 32 from the floor and 11 of 13 from the free throw line. He also averaged 7.5 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.5 spg as Washburn defeated Northwest Missouri 69-60 before falling to Midwestern State 72-63.
