Senior middle hitter Jessica Fey averaged 5.00 points per set and hit .494 in three Washburn wins last week. She had the second most points (33.5) and third most kills (29) in school history in the Lady Blues 3-2 win at No. 7 Central Missouri Saturday. That match she became the ninth Washburn player to record 1,000 kills and 300 blocks in a career. She had 29 kills with five errors in 55 attempts and added four blocks. The third-ranked Lady Blues won for just the fourth time in school history at Central Missouri. Fey had 10 kills with no errors in 17 attempts to hit .588 in a sweep at Southwest Baptist and in a sweep at home against MSSU, she had eight kills with just one error in 11 tries to hit .636 in the match. She added an ace in each match and seven total blocks to give her 55.0 points in the three matches. Fey had the winning kill in two of Washburn's sets at UCM and her 29th kill in the fifth set put the Lady Blues at match point.
