Averaged 21.0 ppg while the Ichabods were 2-0 on the week picking up road wins at Fort Hays State and Nebraska-Kearney. He had a career-high 5 3-pointers against the Tigers in 7 shots ni the 70-69 win over the Tigers. He finished 7 of 11 from the field with four rebounds, four assists and a steal. Against the Lopers, Mitchell scored 17 of his 21 points in the first half as Washburn rolled to the 72-56 win. He was 9 of 15 from the field and 4 of 9 from 3-point range with 5 assists in the win.
