Was a perfect 2-0 in dual matches during the opening weekend of play. Against Ark.-Fort Smith, he picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles over Pedro Carvalto and teamed with Bobby Florence at No. 2 doubles to top Matt Table and Sadefur 8-1. Against Drury, he was responsible for both of Washburn's points after defeated Sebastian Zapata at No. 6 singles 6-1, 6-2 and then again winning with Florence at No. 3 doubles topping Jorge Volckaert and Dmirti Lebedyev 8-5.
