Junior shortstop Dakota Kell batted 6 for 10 in his first three games as an Ichabods and helped Washburn to a series win over Truman to start the year. He scored five runs and drove in three. He was 3 for 4 in the opener Friday with a double and three runs scored. He had a two-run double in game three as part of Washburn's six-run second inning.
