Senior guard Stormye Everett had a career-high 18 points Thursday as she went 7 of 8 from the field in a win against Nebraska-Kearney. She then had 12 points Saturday as Washburn beat FHSU and clinched at least a share of the MIAA title. She averaged 15.0 points a game last week and shot .647 from the field with five rebounds and 1.5 steals and assists a game. She had entered the week with only six double-figure scoring games this year.
