Alyxis Bowens nearly averaged a double-double for the week, putting up 16.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest in two wins for Washburn.  Bowens scored 32 total pointsa nd grabbed 18 total rebounds, shooting 61.9 percent from the field (13-of-21) in two starts, playing 20.5 minutes per contest.  The junior center led the team with four blocks as well while dishing out two assists and coming up with two steals.  Bowens had her first career double-double on Wednesday in a 85-27 win over Northeastern State, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds before following it with a team-high 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks in a 69-62 win over Central Oklahoma.  Eight of Bowens' 18 total rebounds came on the offensive end, helping WU outscore its opponents a combined 23-11 in second chance points for the week.
