Over three appearances last week, reliever Jaren Kutzke tossed 5.1 innings of scoreless ball with eight strikeouts, scattering five hits with a 0.00 ERA. Against No. 19 Emporia State, Kutzke threw 1.2 innings without allowing a run, picking up two strikeouts in a comeback win for the Ichabods. Â Kutzke got a key out in the win over Lindenwood in game two of the series, earning a strikeout in a bases loaded relief appearance. Â The finale with Lindenwood (Saturday) saw Kutzke toss 3.1 innings with five strikeouts, giving up just three hits. Â Kutzke led the team in strikeouts for the week.
