Over three appearances last week, reliever Jaren Kutzke tossed 5.1 innings of scoreless ball with eight strikeouts, scattering five hits with a 0.00 ERA. Against No. 19 Emporia State, Kutzke threw 1.2 innings without allowing a run, picking up two strikeouts in a comeback win for the Ichabods. Kutzke got a key out in the win over Lindenwood in game two of the series, earning a strikeout in a bases loaded relief appearance. The finale with Lindenwood (Saturday) saw Kutzke toss 3.1 innings with five strikeouts, giving up just three hits. Kutzke led the team in strikeouts for the week.
