Schmiedeler hit a 49-yard field goal in the third quarter putting Washburn up 44-14. With that field goal, Schmiedeler passed Chad Todd (1997-2000) for the most career field goals in school history with his 37th. On the day, Schmiedeler also had three punts for 125 yards for a 41.7 yards per attempt average and kicked off nine times with five touchbacks averaging 60.8 yards per kickoff. He was accounted for 10 points for the Ichabods against the RiverHawks.
