Klemz finished fifth in the 5000m run in a school-record time of 14:11.36 picking up four team points in his first of two events this weekend. Klemz becomes the highest-finishing male athlete in the NCAA track and field championships and it was also his fourth All-American award with his two cross country awards and his outdoor All-American award in the 10000m run last year. Klemz picked his second All-American honor of the 2019 Indoor Championships with a 10^th place finish in the 3000m run in a time of 8:21.38 with the third-fastest time in school history. He was a first team All-American with Friday's fifth-place finish in the 5000m run.
