Sierra Mortensen opened her junior season by placing first out of 41 collegiate runners at the Bearcat Open on Sept. 6. Mortensen led the Ichabods and helped the squad finish first at the competition. This was her first time racing in the Bearcat Open and completed the 5k course with a time of 19:19.56.
