Erica Montgomery helped the No. 5 Washburn volleyball team (11-1, 3-1 MIAA) to two wins last week with a shutout at Emporia State and a 3-1 victory against Missouri Western. In seven sets played, Montgomery finished with 38 total kills and a .308 attacking percentage while averaging 5.43 kills per set. Against Missouri Western, she led the team and tied a career-high in kills with 22.
