Nick Sloan has been a part of the Washburn baseball squad since 2018. The right-handed pitcher has made 18 career appearances with 13 starts on the hill for the Ichabods and holds a career ERA of 4.88. In 2018 he threw two complete games, including a nine inning victory at Emporia State. That same season, he also had three games where he went six or more innings without allowing an earned run. He went 3-0 in four appearances in 2019 with a 0.92 ERA, striking out 19 in 19.2 innings pitched. The Paola, Kan. native is majoring in management.
