Xavier De Leon has been a member of the Ichabod baseball team for two seasons. In 2019, he started all 46 games as the lead-off man in the batting order and finished among the team’s top-three in doubles (13/1st), runs scored (39/2nd), and hits (50/3rd). He was also an all-MIAA honorable mention selection as a junior. In the 2020 season opening game at Cal-State San Bernardino, De Leon went 3-for-3 at the plate with a walk and a run scored. In 18 starts this season, De Leon recorded 16 hits, drew nine walks, scored seven runs, and drove in an additional six runs. The Round Rock, Texas native is majoring in marketing.
