Marrit Mead batted .357 over the weekend as the Ichabods were 2-2 at the Lubbock Christian Invitational. She had two hits and scored a run in the season opener including a triple against Midwestern State. She added another hit against West Texas A&M and stole a base. Against UT-Permian Basin, she had two hits including a double and scored two runs.
