Jaycee Ginter went 2-0 and was a part of two shutout wins in the circle and had five hits at the plate to help the Ichabods to a 4-1 weekend at the Emporia 5-State Classic. Ginter pitched a complete game shutout victory against Southwest Baptist and allowed just one single, no walks, and struck out five and then helped herself offensively by going 2-4 at the plate with a home run and scoring two total runs. In her start against Minnesota State-Moorhead, she went four innings and did not allow a hit while walking one and striking out seven in the combined shutout win. She also collected two RBI in the contest.
