Washburn's Sebastian Pjontek became the first Ichabod ITA Regional Champion since 2017 and the third overall defeating teammate Santiago Rendon 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the ITA Small College Championships Oct. 12-15 in Rome, Ga. earning one of this week's HyVee Student Athlete of the Week honors. 

Pjontek was a perfect 5-0 in singles play while going 2-1 in doubles with teammate Daniel Bird.
