Maja Jung helped No. 15 Washburn women's tennis to a 2-0 week against ranked opponents with a 4-0 record combined between singles and doubles. Against No. 12 Indianapolis Jung and Lara Schmid defeated the No. 19 ranked doubles team in the nation 6-3 and the senior went on to win a two-set match against No. 45 Diane Flament of UIndy in the 4-3 win. On Saturday against No. 8 Wayne State (MI) Jung and Schmid defeated the No. 3 ranked doubles team in the nation 7-6(7) to win the doubles point for Washburn. In singles competition Jung clinched the match 4-1 for the Ichabods with a two-set victory over No. 48 Anais Ruyssen of the Warriors.
